Where is Waldron & Rhodes Fine Jewelry located?
We are located in Rutland City on US Route 4 East, also known as Woodstock Avenue. We are approximately 1 mile east from the junction of Route 4 & 7, and are next to Royal Glass and across from Pizza Hut. Click here for directions.

What are the store hours for Waldron & Rhodes Fine Jewelry?
Regular store hours are Monday - Friday 10AM - 6PM, and Saturday 10AM - 4PM. Additional hours by appointment are available as well.

Does Waldron & Rhodes do repair work?
Absolutely! This is one of our areas of expertise. We have a complete shop on the premises staffed by full-time jewelers, engravers and quartz watch repair technicians. We also offer same day repair service and the opportunity to have work done while you wait!

What is the cost to size a ring or set a diamond?
The charge varies, and depends upon the complexity of the job, the type of metal (platinum or gold or silver), and the nature and type of gemstones involved. All repair work is estimated in advance so that you'll know what you'll be charged.

Does Waldron & Rhodes offer "While-You-Wait" service?
The short answer is YES, but in most cases we will need to see the item prior to making a definite commitment. Almost all diamond settings, sizing, soldering, stone setting and replacement can be done on a ?while-you-wait? basis, depending on the complexity of the job. In almost all cases, routine jobs like this can certainly be finished within the same day, if not while you wait.
Because we are always working through a list of scheduled repairs for other valued clients, we may charge an additional fee for While-You-Wait and Same Day service.

If I didn't buy it there, will Waldron & Rhodes size it or fix it?
Of Course. If it can be sized or fixed, we are happy to the job for you quickly, expertly and professionally. We have no qualms about working on jewelry bought in other shops, because we simply enjoy working on jewelry!

Does Waldron & Rhodes repair watches?
Yes! We can take care of your mechanical or quartz movement watches. We specialize in quartz movements, and we can service your existing quartz watch or even retrofit a mechanical movement with a quartz one. We can repair most fine lines of watch, including pieces by Seiko, Bulova, Omega, Tag Heuer, Movado, Concord, Citizen and Ebel. We also have an outside shop of skilled master watchmakers who service our high-grade mechanical movements such as Rolex and the like.

What type of jewelry does Waldron & Rhodes buy?
You name it. We buy almost anything, and we assure that you will get a discrete transaction and a fair price. We are always especially interested in signed pieces by premiere makers such as Tiffany, Cartier, V.C.& A, Bulari, etc.

Does Waldron & Rhodes buy "broken" jewelry?
Yes, we recycle precious metals right here in our shop, and we can offer fair market prices for the materials in damaged jewelry. Whether it's broken rings, ruined chains, or a half pair of earrings, all the materials get salvaged and reused by our goldsmith in repairs or new creations.

Does Waldron & Rhodes buy jewelry and diamonds?
Yes, our gemologists, estate jewelers and diamond buyers are the most aggressive buyers in our region. If it is something we need and want, we offer guaranteed immediate payment.

Do I need to make an appointment to bring in jewelry I would like to sell?
No. At Waldron and Rhodes, walk-in transactions are welcome and there is always someone here with the authority to make immediate decisions and purchase your old jewelry for cash.

We do appreciate advance appointments for business conducted for attorneys, bank trust departments, and estate representatives or executors. And because we are such a busy shop, for your convenience we suggest you call in advance if you have a number of items you?d like us to appraise. You can also make an appointment for us to visit your home, office or bank for maximum convenience and discretion.
